Our Annual RISE Breakfast isn’t just a delicious breakfast—it’s a powerful gathering where our community comes together to shine a light on human trafficking in our area. We stand with survivors and take action toward change and prevention. Each year, we invite a speaker whose expertise and insight help us understand the reality of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. This event was created to inspire us to become the relief. By giving to resources in your area, you can help these women and children find hope, healing, and independence.
This year, we are honored to welcome Dr. Jeanne Allert as our keynote speaker.

Why RISE Matters
This annual breakfast is important to Terebinth Refuge because RISE is our primary fundraiser of the year. The funds raised through tickets, sponsorships, and donations directly sustain our mission to provide safe shelter, trauma-informed care, and long-term support for women rebuilding their lives.
Every dollar given is used to expand our life-changing services:
But RISE is also about more than funding—it’s about breaking misconceptions about human trafficking by educating and bringing awareness to the real issues. When you buy a ticket, you are doing more than just supporting Terebinth Refuge; you are raising awareness, demonstrating solidarity with survivors, and helping spark conversations in our community. Together, we are creating a culture that stands against exploitation and fights for restoration.
