What is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is the exploitation of individuals through force, fraud, or coercion for labor or sexual services. This issue significantly impacts our community, leading to long-term physical and psychological trauma. At Terebinth Refuge we are fighting back by increasing awareness, encouraging education, and joining coordinated efforts among law enforcement, social services, and organizations to support victims and prevent human trafficking.

We focus on the hard truths about human trafficking. It’s time to take a closer look at the REALITY, REASON, RESOURCE, & RELIEF behind Terebinth Refuge.

An informed community can deter traffickers, support survivors, and advocate for stronger laws and resources. Ultimately, awareness and education empower communities to protect their most vulnerable members and foster a safer, more just society.

Request a Speaker

To emphasize the importance of staying aware and educated about human trafficking in our community, you can arrange for a speaker to visit your church. A knowledgeable speaker can provide insights into recognizing trafficking signs, understanding its impact, and supporting survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
